Isolation and Identification of Atractylenolide lV from Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz.

Abstract: Nine compounds have been isolated from the rhizomes of Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz. One of them is a new compound, named atractylenolide Ⅳ. Sitosterol and triterpenoid ester were also isolated firstly in this genus.
