Abstract: The tranfer of Soybean mRNA into rice ovary and mierospore cultured in vitro were achieved by the method of critical injection and the techniques of anther culture. Alien proteins (2S and 11S glubulin) were detected in seeds from the treated rice progeny (F1 and F2). These alien proteins were identical in immunological property to the proteins from soybean seeds; while no alien proteins was detected in the control.
