Chemical Structure of Macrocalyxin D

Abstract: A new diterpenoid which exhibits cytotoxic activity, macrocalyxin D has been isolated from the e-thereal extract of the leaves of Rabdosia macrocalyx (Dunn) Hara. On the basis of chemical and spectroscopic data, the chemical structure of macrocalyxin D was established as (3).
