Journal of Integrative Plant Biology (JIPB), firstly established in 1952 and sponsored by Botanical Society of China and Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, aiming at reporting novel scientific discoveries related to any processes of plant biology, is a leading and fast-publishing international journal on plant sciences. As a monthly journal, publishing both in print and in digital versions, JIPB is available in 4,609 libraries worldwide and indexed by 44 databases such as SCI, CA, BA and BIOSIS. It publishes articles in 3 catagories: invited reviews, full-length research articles and new technologies. The invited review intends to bring our readers to the state-of-the-art scientific development, while the research articles focus on answering basic biological questions through reproducible experimental design and statistic analyses. We will not consider papers of descriptive observations or confirmation of discoveries made in another species. The way of addressing the scientific discovery must be appropriate for a wide audience of plant biologists. JIPB offers rapid and high quality of manuscript handling and publication. Authors may submit color photographs for consideration of front cover illustration, and in return, if accepted, the authors will receive offprints with color cover without additional costs. All accepted papers will be given immediate exposure on the journal's home page (www.jipb.net).
