Cas12a-based on-site, rapid detection of genetically modified crops

Abstract: A CRISPR/LbCas12a-based nucleic acid detection method that uses crude leaf extracts as samples and is rapid (≤40 min for a full run) and highly sensitive (0.01%) can be used to monitor genetically modified organisms in the field.
