The Chemical Constituents from Dracocephalum tanguticum Maxim.

Abstract: Dracocephalum tanguticum Maxim. is endemic in Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. It has been widely used in Tibetan traditional medicine. From the methanol extracts of this species, eight compounds were isolated and identified as oleanolic acid ( Ⅰ ), ursolic acid ( Ⅱ ), daucosterol (Ⅲ), skimmin (Ⅳ), eosmosiin (Ⅴ), pedalitin (Ⅵ), pedaliin (Ⅶ), and a new natural product pedaliin-6″-acetate ( ⅩⅢ ).
