Chemical Components in the Bark of Magnolia rostrata W. W. Smith

Abstract: From the bark of Magnolia rostrata W. W. Smith (Magnoliaceae), the honokiol(1) mp. 87.5 ℃ and the magnolol (Ⅱ) mp. 102 ℃ was isolated. Moreover, it can be proved that the bark of Magnolia rostrata W. W. Smith contains β-eudesmol in the essential oil.
