Cover Caption: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs that regulate gene expression. As pleiotropic regulators, they function posttranscriptionally and involve in many basic physiologic processes, such as plant development and stress response. Through direct cloning, 24 new miRNA have been discovered in wild soybean (Glycine soja) and two putative target genes were experimentally verified. These results will facilitate our understanding of epigenetic regulation of gene expression. See pages 1069–1077 for details. [Detail] ...For Selected: Toggle Thumbnails
