Zhong Rong,Zhu Feng,Liu Yu-le,Li Sheng-guo,Kang Liang-yi and Luo Peng

Abstract: Using hypocotyls and cotyledons as transformed materials, an efficient transformation system of oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) was established. Bxn gene (bromoxynil-resistant gene)was introduced into these plants, and bromoxynil-resistant transgenic oilseed rape was obtained. Themolecular monitoring experiments showed that these transgenic plants contained bxn gene. The herbicide experiments showed that these transgenic plants had resistance to 10-3 moL/Lbromoxynil.

Key words: Brassica napus, Transformation, bxn gene, Bromoxynil-resistant transgenic oilseed rape
