Changes of Peroxidase and Esterase Activities in Fritillaria thunbergii Miq. During Breaking Dormancy at Low Temperature

Abstract: By means of polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and other techniques, changes of peroxidase and esterase were studied in Fritillaria thunbergii Miq. during breaking dormancy at low temperature. The results showed that the activities of peroxidase and esterase of the bud Were changed considerably after low temperature treatment for 40 days. It is suggested that the change of physiological state of Fritillaria thunbergii Miq. took place after treated with low temperature for 40 days.
